Ring Pass will also play in the Promotion Class next season. The team from Delft lost 2-1 to Xenios on Sunday in the return of the play-outs, but thanks to the 5-2 victory a day earlier, the damage was manageable. Over two games, Ring Pass won 6-4 and secured another season at the second highest level.

At Sportpark Sloten on Sunday, Xenios knew exactly what to do in advance. The Amsterdam team had to overcome a three-goal deficit to Ring Pass to earn promotion to the Promotion Class. After a few minutes, that mission seemed to get off to a cautious start when former big league player Noud Schoenaker gave the home team the lead.
