The game was started by Argentina looking for the Spanish goal and an attack on the right wing forced the first PC in the 7th minute. Tomás Domene's shot reached Luis Calzado at mid-height, but was deflected by Marc Recasens' stick and he could do nothing to prevent the first goal from Rey Lucas's team. He had the second PC in his favor a minute later, but this time he went wide.
Pol Cabré was very close to tying the game. He had a loose ball inside the area, but the shot went high. He caused a Penalty Stroke in favor of Marc Reyné, when he was pushed from behind when he was about to shoot. Chefo Basterra took advantage of it to equalize the match at one goal. It didn't take long for the Argentines to react, causing a new CP in the next play. Luis Calzado excelled with a save from Tomás Domene's shot. The one who did not forgive was Marc Recasens. An assist that crossed the area from Pol Cabré left him alone, he set up the shot and beat Tomás Santiago to increase the score to 2-1.
In the second half, it didn't take us long to provoke a PC in favor and Pepe Cunill fooled the goalkeeper with his shot, who could do little to avoid the 3-1 for the RedSticks. And Borja Lacalle was about to score the fourth for Spain, but he ran into the right foot of Tomás Santiago.
