The Spanish First Division Championship – Phase of Promotion to Division of Honor B put the final touch this weekend on an intense competition that brought together the best teams in the category in search of a place in the second highest national competition.

In the men's category, played at the Pablo Negre Municipal Field in San Fernando (Cádiz), CH Pozuelo was proclaimed champion of Spain after finishing in first position in the classification. The Madrid team achieved promotion together with CH San Fernando, second place and host of the competition. The podium was completed by CH Xaloc, while Kale Lagunak finished in fourth position.

The Madrid team showed great consistency throughout the tournament, beating CH Xaloc (3-0) and Kale Lagunak (5-1). Although they lost on the last day against CH San Fernando (3-2), the six-point draw allowed them to win the national title.
