England Hockey announced its men's and women's squads for the home block of the FIH Hockey Pro League in London, where Lee Valley will host 12 days of international hockey from 13 to 28 June. The release positions the London stage as one of the federation's major moments of the summer, with both senior teams preparing to play in front of home crowds against top-level opposition.

The men's list combines established names such as captain Zach Wallace, Sam Ward, Phil Roper and James Gall with younger players stepping up from the under-21 pathway. On the women's side, co-captains Flora Peel and Lily Walker lead an experienced group, while Lily Owsley edges toward 150 England caps and younger players Molly Smith and Mia Moore are brought into the senior environment for the London run.

England Hockey also frames the selection around performance momentum. Both teams arrive after unbeaten World Cup qualifying campaigns, so the London window is presented not only as a showpiece event but also as a live competitive test before the World Cup, with the added pressure and opportunity that comes from playing key Pro League matches at home.
