June 19, 2026 HOCKEY PRO LEAGUE - Red Lions again record big win against Pakistan The Red Lions have also convincingly won their second confrontation with Pakistan in the FIH Hockey Pro League. In the Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre, Belgium won with a clear 6-0 score after a match in which they maintained control from start to finish.
Belgium had a dream start. Nicolas De Kerpel opened the score in the first minute and immediately set the tone for the rest of the match. The Red Lions continued to apply pressure and regularly forced Pakistan back into their own half. A green card for Moin Shakeel made the task even more difficult for the visitors.
Belgium further extended its lead in the second quarter. After a nice assist from Nelson Onana, Tom Boon doubled the score. The Red Lions continued to create chances and scored several penalty corners. Although they initially yielded no results, Boon found his way back to goal moments later and made it 3-0 at halftime.
