The classification of Las Leoncitas to the 2027 Junior World Cup came without room for doubt. Argentina crushed Chile 7-0 in the semifinal of the Junior Pan American Cup and with that result secured one of the continental places for the next World Cup event, while entering the final of the tournament with incontestable authority.

The game was oriented very soon. Clarisa Iudicello opened the scoring after three minutes and the team widened the gap as they found more spaces and more penalty corners. Chiara Ambrosini scored two goals from the spot, Iudicello scored again in the 39th minute and the last quarter served to finish off the dominance with goals from Rocio Bianchi, Maxima Duportal and Luciana Peralta. The offensive production reflected well what the Argentine journey had been throughout the championship.

Before the semifinal, Las Leoncitas had already overcome the group stage without defeats and with a very solid balance: 11-0 against Mexico, 8-1 against Canada, 2-1 against Uruguay, 5-0 against the United States and 3-0 against Chile. Qualification for the World Cup, therefore, did not appear as an isolated prize, but as the natural consequence of the best team in the tournament up to that moment. With the World Cup goal already secured, the group was able to face the final knowing that they had responded forcefully in the match that mattered the most.
