May 11, 2026 Belfius Women's League - Antwerp to the play-offs, Victory avoids direct relegation on the final match day Belfius Women's League - the Eredivisie for women - the top three was already determined after the previous match day: Gantoise ended the regular season as leader and can certainly enter Europe. Dragons and Waterloo Ducks finish in second and third place. On the last day of play, the absolute top match between Dragons and Gantoise was on the bill yesterday. In a dress rehearsal for the play-offs, Dragons won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Maxime Ver Boven.

The battle for fourth place was between Antwerp and outgoing national champion Braxgata. Both teams had the same number of points on the last matchday, but Antwerp had won one more match. For T1 Glenn Simpson's team, winning against Wellington was enough to reach the top four.

Thanks to two goals from Emily White, Antwerp went into the break with a 2-0 lead. It became even more exciting for red and white when Astrid Bonami made it 2-1 in the 62nd minute, but Antwerp survived the last eight minutes.
