The gentlemen of Tilburg return to the Hoofdklasse. After Saturday's 4-3 victory, a 1-1 draw against Laren was enough for the Brabanders to secure promotion. HDM maintained itself at the highest level. The Hague team also defeated Nijmegen in the return on Sunday (3-1), after having already won 2-1 the day before.

Tilburg used the match point it had acquired the day before with its victory over Laren. In a match in which the tension was greater than the number of chances for a long time, Tilburg was the better team in the opening phase. However, great opportunities were not forthcoming. Laren then struck with his first penalty corner of the afternoon. Balder Reyenga pushed hard into the roof of the goal halfway through the second quarter and gave the visitors a 0-1 lead. This meant that the score was completely balanced again over two games.

It's a double celebration at HDM. Both the women and men maintained themselves at the highest level. After the narrow 2-1 win, the men traveled to Nijmegen on Sunday.
