In the case of the first RC Polo men's team, that task falls to Gerardo Fortuño Company, who faces his fourth season as team leader in 2026. We spoke with him before the Final Four that his team will play in Madrid from May 30 to 31.

Years as team leader: This is my fourth in the first men's team, although I have been at the school for many years.

Gerardo Fortuño: "It's about helping with organizational tasks, so that the coaches can dedicate themselves to their work without interference and without other concerns than trying to get the best performance out of the players. I also believe that it is an important job, during the games, to keep the benches in order, with good sporting behavior and with respect for rivals, referees and the organization. In short, our job is to liaise between the Club and the players, staff and federation, so that everything works in the best way. possible.”
