Less fog for clubs, families and organizers
Hockey Belgium has communicated that the match schedules are fixed until the end of the season, not only in grassroots categories but also in the adult structure. The official note leaves only one caution: some schedules could still undergo minor adjustments for specific reasons, but the general framework is now closed.
The decision reduces uncertainty in a stretch of the course in which each weekend requires a lot of coordination between clubs, referees and travel.
It also gives more clarity to teams that already plan crossovers, regular phase closures and weeks with concentrated competitive load.
The federation accompanies the message with an explicit desire for a good start to the second outdoor phase, a sign that planning is now entering a particularly sensitive period.
It is not spectacular news, but it is one of those that truly organizes an ecosystem. When the calendar stops moving every week, hockey gains organizational quality and teams can focus much more on competing than on chasing adjustments.
